Other Services

“Provisional” or your First Dentures

Provisional dentures are made for people who still have some teeth to extract. Before having those teeth extracted, we take impressions of your mouth and process a denture from this impression. When the dentists is finished removing the remains teeth the dentist inserts the denture to give that person a new full set of teeth. The denture acts as a bandage, keeping the extraction sites clean and free of food. Over the following six months temporary liners will be inserted into this denture to compensate for any changes inside the mouth. After 6-9 months of healing time these dentures will have to be replaced or possibly relined. Provisional dentures cost an additional $600 per denture. The cost is added onto the price of the quality denture chosen. This includes all of the temporary liners needed up to the point that the dentures need to be replaced.

Relines/Rebase

If you have a poor fitting denture in good condition, it can, (in most cases), have a new layer of material placed in it. This allows the denture to be refit to any changes that might have occurred in your mouth. Relines can, in most cases, be completed in one day

Softliner

Softeners are a silicone based material that is processed to the tissue side of a lower denture. Because of its flexible nature, this material allows your denture to engage any undercuts that form in the bone structure of your lower jaw anatomy. softeners also provide a certain level of cushion against most normal biting forces. Softeners can be added to any level of denture, even an existing denture that may need to be relined. This is a great option for those with little bone structure remaining in their lower jaw.

Repairs

Most repairs can be done the same day. If an impression is needed, it may take longer to complete. Due to extensive variation from case to case, please inquire for completion time.

Adjustments

All adjustments are free with our new dentures, partials, relines, and softliners for six months after delivery. There will be a charge after the six month period, or if we are adjusting a denture made elsewhere.

Temporary Liners

These are used to temporarily compensate for change sin the mouth, should more changes be expected in the future. They are generally followed with a permanent reline.

Sports Guards/Night Guards

Night guards are a great way to reduce the effects of grinding your teeth and snoring at night. Night guards prevent you from waking up with a sore jaw or headaches. They also help prolong the chances of having to buy any of our other products in the future.
